"If you are coming to Croatia I heartily recommend Roberto P / Soul of Croatia to make your trip memorable and trouble free. Robi is an excellent organizer and very knowledgeable guide. He designed a cycling trip that gave me and my husband just the right amount of challenge and I finished feeling great. Croatia is so beautiful and he is incredibly generous with true insider info and connections. I will never forget the experiences and memories he made for us - and I have never before laughed so hard on a guided trip. I truly felt like he brought the Soul of Croatia to us."

"Amazing vacation in Croatia"

"First time that we've been moved to make a post like this but just returned from a week long cycling trip in Croatia that is easily among the best vacations we have ever taken largely due to the expert organization and guidance provided by Robi of Soul of Croatia. Every day was truly a new adventure highlighted by beautiful rides, exceptional views, gorgeous weather, wonderful local food and people and Robi's commitment to ensuring that we fully enjoyed and appreciated the diversity and rich history that this beautiful country offers. "A Most Amazing Cycling Trip"

"Our cycling trip with Roberto was one of the best trips I have ever taken. And this is the second cycling trip I have done with Roberto. I didn’t possibly think he could outdo the excellence of the first trip, but Roberto did. The second trip also exceeded all of my expectations. Our group of eight friends were taken on a private Cycling tour carefully customized to meet all of our needs. Roberto picked daily Cycling adventures which brought us to exquisitely beautiful places in Croatia, and each day was more beautiful than the last. Roberto’s knowledge of Croatia, his connections to the local people, his passion for the history and customs of every place that we visited, could not be replicated by anyone else. Roberto personally took us on a tour of the old city of Dubrovnik, as well as the city of Ston, and he constantly provided us with knowledge of the local areas. Roberto chose restaurants for us, which were excellent and which served traditional delicious Croatian cuisine. Roberto had personal connections to many of the restaurants and wineries we visited which meant we were provided with the highest level of service. Both before, and after our trip, Roberto assisted us with any other excursions and bookings we were interested in. After our trip was complete he personally took us on a boat tour where we swam in amazing caves. It was an exceptional trip, and I cannot recommend Roberto and Soul of Croatia highly enough to anybody who would like to experience Croatia as it should be experienced."

"Unique Personal Service for 100% Fun in Croatia"

"Roberto (Robi) Pincevic is the best. He is an honest, genuine, and funny person, which made our Soul of Croatia Destination Company trip a very special experience. Robi is modest, so doesn’t really talk about it, but he won a prestigious REI TOP GUIDE award several years back…he knows what he is doing. What we appreciated most is that the VALUE that Robi provides is extremely high, worth every penny. Because of his local knowledge and relationships, our June 2023 private 12-day land and catamaran tour for a family of five was super-efficient: * We are certain that he SAVED US A DAY OR TWO by carefully planning out where we wanted to go at the correct day and time to avoid lines and crowds, especially at the National Parks such as Plitvice, Krka, and Mljet. * Simple things like knowing the central hotel location or the best place to park the van made a big difference. * Because Soul of Croatia is a family run business (we had the pleasure of meeting his young family), Robi was physically with us every step of the way, guiding, driving and skippering. We were able to easily make REAL-TIME adjustments to our activities when we saw something that we wanted to check out or shop for. * Robi recommended the finest local restaurants, often knowing the owner personally. Our son is not a foodie, but he quickly realized that he should just order whatever Robi did to have the most delicious cuisine for that specific region. * Skipper Robi was awesome…safety first plus knowing the special beaches and hidden caves to visit on the Dalmatian coast. We were often the ONLY PEOPLE at spots that we anchored. * Robi is deeply invested in providing a personal Croatia experience. One morning on the catamaran, he offered to cook us tasty omelettes. Another morning, we enjoyed ice cream for breakfast. Throughout the sailing, he taught our son how to fish, and when they were finally successful, showed him how to clean, cook, and eat their catch. "Amazing 2 week adventure in Slovenia and Croatia"

"We just returned from a fantastic 2 week tour of Slovenia and Croatia organized by Robi. This is the second trip that I have planned with Robi and he did an amazing job of planning both of the trips as we did a combination of self guided and guided holiday. The first trip was a mother/daughter trip and the second trip was 2 couples. All of the logistics were co ordinated by Robi and we did not have to worry about airport transfers, ferry tickets, accommodations or city guides. Robi was only a text away - which was very reassuring if there were any problems that arose. He also checked in with us a few times a day and gave us relevant information. Robi is very passionate about Croatia and is very knowledgable about all things from wine to history, sports and nature. I would highly recommend Robi if you are planning a trip to Croatia/Slovenia. I am very tempted to come back for a third adventure !!! Thank you Robi for organizing such a wonderful holiday for us!!"

"Incredible 6-day Cycling Trip on Dalmatian Coast"

"We just returned from an absolutely incredible 6-day cycling trip in Croatia and the Dalmatian Coast and I honestly don't know how we could have had the trip we did without Robi's expert help. We specifically wanted a more tailored experience, that would allow us to adjust routes, difficulty, etc. as needed (we are intermediate cyclers) and didn't like the idea of being in a large impersonal tour group. Robi's guidance and experience met those needs perfectly. He provided all the cycling materials (bikes, helmets, etc.), as well as all the necessary logistical coordination (ferries, van support, airport transfer, etc.) that we needed. This made it so easy, knowing we just needed to arrive and everything was taken care of. Outside of that, each day we were given full freedom to select and adjust the planned route (they also provided route options!) based on our skill level or just how we were feeling that day, which was absolutely monumental. It was also just our group in the van (5 cyclists) and we all knew each other, so making these adjustments and taking the time we needed was easy and we knew we didn't need to meet any expectations or timelines of a larger group. By the end, our cycling guide (Goron) felt like a friend and an integral part of our crew. Outside of the cycling, our arranged accommodations were all selected thoughtfully and with our criteria in mind. Each was clean, well-located and included all the necessary amenities. In each location (Split, Hvar, Korcula, Ston), we were just a short walk to see the town, have dinner, and explore the area. Robi and Goron were also able to provide local recommendations in each location, including wine and olive oil tastings during the bike rides. I would absolutely recommend that anyone work with Robi to create their perfect trip to Croatia. It was an absolutely once-in-a-lifetime experience and I credit him completely!"

"The best time cycling Dalmatia"

"Our cycling trip through Dalmatia was incredible, thanks to Robi. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and well-planned our trip was, from the very start of planning, up until we had to say goodbye to beautiful Croatia, Robi was friendly, professional, responsive, attentive, and SO knowledgeable. He made the planning process easy and painless, making sure our group was comfortable with all his suggestions and recommendations before anything was set or booked. We really had no idea what to expect, or the best way to plan a trip like this, so I was super relieved at what a great guide he was in helping us plan. During our planning, we ended up making several trip modifications to accommodate our ability level and budget, and we was able to customize it all perfectly. While in Croatia, he was always a step ahead to make sure all the logistics and coordination were taken care of so that we didn't have to worry about a thing -- from airport transport to ferry tickets to activity recommendations. He helped us design a very customized self-guided cycling tour according to our ability and interests, and was super knowledgable about the region, giving us great tips to make our experience even more special. We loved all the accommodations he booked for us (he helped customize according to our budget), and every logistical detail was smooth without any hiccups or surprises. He checked on us throughout our trip and was available the entire time to answer any questions. I also want to give a huge shout out to his colleague, Goran, who was our amazing driver and support crew along the routes. He was super fun, very accommodating, and we just had a blast with him. He took care to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and felt comfortable with our bikes and routes each day. Not sure what we would have done without him! Highly, highly recommend booking a cycling trip with Robi and Soul of Croatia. They made our trip epic and truly unforgettable!"

"Amazing trip, fabulous guide"

"As a former tour guide in France, I can confidently say that Robi is the BEST! His love of Croatia is infectious - and he is both gentleman and scholar — and really fun to be with! He patiently adapted to the needs of us 4 women traveling together, created a brilliant itinerary and customized things as he got to know us. He’s incredibly responsive, thoughtful, caring and straightforward. We privately referred to him as “Mom”!! I recommend him fully and without hesitation- you’ll have a blast with Soul of Croatia and create memories for a lifetime."

"Soul of Croatia is the best tour/trip planning and facilitating company in Croatia! This is my second time of planning a trip with owner Robert (Robi) Pincevic in the Dalmatia region of Croatia. On this adventure, I had my sister from the U.S. with me and we also got to spend time with tour guide Goran. We had a perfect trip filled with just the right mix of adventure and relaxation, exploration and learning. I love this company and cannot recommend it enough. "Croatia Planned Perfectly!"

"My husband and I chose the 17 day self guided Best of Croatia Tour, and it was a fabulous itinerary customized by Robi. We have really appreciated all of the patience that Robi has shown us throughout this process (since it initially was scheduled for Fall of 2020. Throughout the pandemic lockdown Robi and I kept in touch, and he never pressured us at all to book, but was kind and understanding of our desire to come when we felt it was the right time. Our trip was outstanding and we felt that we really did experience "the Best of Croatia". Robi's suggestions for our itinerary were excellent. We liked starting in Zagreb, the capital, and appreciated our tour of the highlights of the capital city with Bruno, who was so passionate about his country! Part of the excitement of traveling for us is learning about the history and getting a glimpse into the culture, and Bruno did that! We were happy that Robi suggested to drive to the north of Croatia to visit the Trakoscan Castle - I loved how the furniture is still set up in their place and you can almost imagine how it was back in the 14th century! Also we were happily surprised at the beautiful highways that Croatia has, they are all so pristine and it was a pleasure to travel on them. We also appreciated the GPS that Robi made sure was in our rental. We adored Istria and indeed it did remind us of Tuscany, so lovely. The little towns of Groznjan was super cute, as was Motovun. Porec was gorgeous and we will always remember the delicious seafood meal we had at Konoba Aba! Plitvice was a highlight - I am so happy that Robi booked our accommodation near the park entrance the night before, as we were almost the first to enter the park, and seeing those stunning waterfalls almost by ourselves was just the best. We can understand how busy the park gets later on in the day or in the summer months, and it would have been a lesser experience, had we gone when it was crowded-it was perfect. Each day was planned perfectly by Robi, with so much thought and consideration. He would send us pins each night for the following day, and so we were able to navigate the driving part all so well, and did not have to use data (which Robi taught us)! There were so many highlights along the way - we loved the city of Zadar - it is full of character, and it is so beautiful, with the sea organ providing a wonderful ambience-just loved it! Robi also placed us in accommodation right at the gates of Krka - he suggested we catch the first boat and we did-Krka is simply breathtaking!! The power of those waterfalls in incredible. We enjoyed the best Sea Bass of our lived in Skradin at Konoba Dalmatino. We left our rental car in Split. Robi arranged for a walking tour of Split and it was a fantastic tour of the Diocletian's Palace. Next we took the ferry to Hvar. This was our favorite island. It had a good "vibe", and we did not even party there (they call it the party island). It is just a gorgeous Medieval town, with quaint alleys full of little shops and restaurants. Robi booked "The DeVecchi Rooms" - our favorite-absolutely adorable, and again, the perfect location for walking everywhere. We took a beach day on Hvar at Ponkoji Dol Beach - you can walk from Old town-stay on the sea wall, don't follow Google maps-the walk on the sea wall is so pretty and the beach is lovely! Then off to Korcula, another island with lots of vineyards, and a few beaches. We did a bike and wine tour here, and loved every minute of it. Robi arranged for the driver, Goran, to pick us up in Korcula, take us on the car ferry to the Peljasic Peninsula, where we embarked on the BEST, most BREATHTAKING bike ride of our lives, along the coastline of the peninsula. Goran also took us to an amazing Vineyard where we sampled a few delicious red wines. This day was a definite highlight for us! And from there Goran drove us to Ston, where we walked the walls and had yet another seafood feast at Konoba Bakus-delicious! Goran picked us up from Ston the next morning and onto our last stop-Dubrovinik. This walled city does not disappoint - it is jaw dropping!! We were not big fans of Split, but we LOVED Dubrovinik. The wall is incredible, and the stories from Antea, our walking guide in Dubrovnik were fascinating. Antea is a true local and she shares her very personal understanding of the history of Dubronik-one of the most interesting and cool cities you will ever see. We walked to another amazing beach, and the accommodations Robi arranged for us in Dubrovnik were perfect. Frankly, this trip was faultless, because of Robi's attention to every detail. He is very hands on, and will communicate with you daily, in case there is anything you need. If you want to have someone plan and organize the best trip to get to know Croatia, you must book Robi-he is kind and considerate and so generous with his time - he went above and beyond and always says that his happiness comes from making his customers happy - how can you beat this? Thank you a million times Robi!"

"Fantastic Bike Trip in Croatia"

"I have done similar bike trips in The Netherlands, on Mallorca, in Portugal and in Italy. The trip in Croatia, handled by Robi and Daniela, was, BY FAR, much better and more personal than any other bike trip I've taken. The level of service is beyond belief. The individual care and attention were much more than I had expected, based on trips elsewhere. Wonderful exposure to the wine industry in Croatia along with wine tasting. City tour of Dubrovnick by Antea was PHENOMENAL!! The recommendations for restaurants and the arrangements for activities were all wonderful. If anyone tells me they are going on a bike trip to Croatia with any other company, I will tell them to cancel their trip and rebook it with Daniela and Robi. First Class, in every sense of the word. Thank you so much to Daniela and Robi!!!!!"

"Custom trip Croatia 2022"

"It was a wonderful trip . Having a guide and vehicle for just the four of us was perfect, avoiding problems finding the way, choosing accommodation or reading the guidebook while walking. We had three guides as one had a wedding in the middle of our trip. All were very knowledgeable and affable. We stayed in a variety of accommodations, from five star hotel to family run B and B . The latter were absolutely a treat. If you ever have the chance to go to Casa Casanova in Istria or Sixteen Lakes guest house at the Plitvice Lakes do not miss them. Finally, what to say about Roberto, the owner of the company and our last guide? He is the epitome of an excellent guide and a wonderful communicator. We first planned to make this trip in the fall of 2020 but as everyone knows we had to delay until this year. He kept in touch with us so quickly as we organized and reorganized our plans and everything turned out as planned. Hint, ask him to take you to the small town near Dubrovnik which is charming and much less crowded than the more famous city."

"Epic Adventures With Customized Itinerary"

"My family and I just returned from a fabulous vacation custom-designed sailing vacation by Soul of Croatia. We were so thankful for Robi's expertise in creating unique experiences for our 8-day trip (within our budget!) for a family of five, ranging in ages from 9 to 75 years old. We had requested to visit the best destinations within Croatia, but off the beaten path, and definitely to avoid where we might run into cruise ships or other crowded tourist destinations. A few highlights from our custom itinerary included walking along the walls of Ston, the longest fortification wall in Europe, swimming in the Blue Cave on Kolocep, visiting a tiny coastal restaurant (accessible only by boat) that served us fresh fish, cycling through the Miljet national park, and wine tasting in the world-famous Dingac region. No request was too difficult for Robi, including re-finding a restaurant that we had visited in Korcula years ago and arranging a last-minute peka feast for us. He was also accommodating to the various skill levels of the members of our family, making sure cycling paths were easy enough for our 9 year-old, but easy enough for my dad to manage on his e-bike. When my dad wanted to skip the sea kayaking, the rest of the family jumped into kayaks while Robi and my dad followed behind on our catamaran. We enjoyed wonderful weather at the end of August with blue skies and calm winds so we could fully enjoy our sailing charter. I would highly recommend Robi to provide a custom-guided adventure for anyone wanting to truly experience the soul of Croatia, whether it is one day, one week, or one month!"

"Amazing vacation"

"Croatia is a beautiful country of rocky mountains, clear waters and blue lakes. It was our first time visiting Croatia and we really enjoyed our time spent exploring the coast between Dubrovnik and Split. Robi and his team put together an itinerary that was perfect way to explore the Croatian coast, including a good mix of islands and historical towns. We were never too busy and had time to explore on our own. Goran, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He liked a joke – especially trying to teach us Croatian words! Though our itinerary was planned, Goran was happy to make changes to accommodate our holiday style. His insider knowledge meant we ate at some delicious family restaurants. Our accommodation was great – a mixture of apartments and hotels, which suited us perfectly. Our hosts were friendly, and our rooms were clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our trip to Croatian and would highly recommend touring with Robi and Goran."

"We have traveled to many places and we feel that this journey with Robi was the BEST! Robi mentioned that he wants to be the best that he can be and that was true for us on our journey through the Soul of Croatia with him for 15 days (just the 2 of us). Robi is a totally awesome guide and person! He is passionate about what he does and he has such an attention to detail. He is dedicated to showing his guests the Soul of Croatia; he has a first hand knowledge of his country and he wants to share that knowledge with his guests. "Best trip ever"

"I can't recommend Soul of Croatia highly enough. Our trip with Robi was one of the best trips that I've ever been on. We were able to customize the tour to hit everything we wanted to see, and it was the perfect mix of outdoor adventure, history, city tours, and relaxation. Robi was professional, knowledgeable, flexible and even kind enough to make changes to the trip at the last minute when we had a family emergency. He could recommend all the best restaurants and shops in every city and truly made us feel welcome! We enjoyed all of the accommodations and are so grateful for the hospitality that was shown to us everywhere we went. I don't think there is a more unique or authentic way to visit the gorgeous country of Croatia and I can't wait to go back, hopefully on another tour with Robi!"

"Adventures 2019"

"Still enjoying fabulous memories of our multiple-activity trip in October with Robi and Soul of Croatia. Robi custom designed our trip specific to the interests and activity levels of our group of eight friends. Most of our trip consisted of short hikes through national parks (Krka, Mlget, Plivitz) or cycling through the countryside on the islands of Hvar, Lopud and Korcula, but we also enjoyed a half day kayaking trip and walking tours through the historic old towns of Dubrovnik, Zagreb and Split. Robi is extremely knowledgeable about Croatia's long and fascinating history. Since I was recovering from an injury, I skipped the cycling and had a fun and interesting ride with Robi in the sag wagon assisting the other cyclists. This was my second trip to Croatia with Robi as our guide. It turned out to be just as much fun as the first trip. We saw new places and very much enjoyed revisiting our favorites from before. One of the best aspects of the trip was going to out of the way places, eating at local yummy restaurants, and seeing the scenic coast and countryside. Robi has extensive contacts with friends and family which he relies on to personalize each trip. I highly recommend a cycling, multi-activity or cultural trip with Robi. He is fun, responsible, interesting, has reasonable rates, and will happily work with you to plan the trip of your dreams."

"Selfguided Cycling trip in Croatia"

"We can't give enough kudos to Robi and Soul of Croatia. The trip we desired was somewhat lengthy and complicated in terms of logistics, activities, lodging, transfers and people joining and leaving our travel party throughout the trip. We wanted a mixture of guided and self-guided activities. Soul of Croatia was very helpful and communicative in putting together the best possible tour to meet our hopes and expectations. "All time favourite trip!"

"This trip to Croatia has been claimed as our all time favorite trip as a couple!!! WE had the BEST time ever!!!!! There were so many stops where we hardly saw other people....villages, beaches, and spectacular views! We visited such beautiful places in Croatia, I had no idea the waters were so many shades of blue and the countryside so lush. Then, we would arrive at most unique accommodations to stay, all top-notch. The itinerary was perfect...and flexible for us, if needed. ROBI kept us on schedule to catch the ferries to all the islands we visited...and to arrive to all dinners on time. The choice of places to eat were wonderfully planned and some were hidden gems with delicious dishes prepared exclusively for our group....some were restaurants and others were not! There were unexpected surprises skillfully set by ROBI which truly brought us so much joy. He made it very FUN for all of us. No one has any idea how beautiful the country named Croatia really is.....come visit...the destinations do not disappoint they are FABULOUS! "I recommend this trip to anyone !"

"Robi was an awesome guide who thoroughly enjoyed showing us his native county. Our group of eight loved every moment in Croatia. The food was fantastic, the scenery awesome, and we were able to see three national parks on our nine night tour. Robi took us by a small boat to an island where we had oysters and mussels that were harvested just before our arrival. We cycled 3 days, kayaked one day, and hiked the remaining days. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an authentic tour of Croatia with Robert Pincevic, the best tour guide!"

"Every holiday should have a Robi!!!"

"WOW ! Every holiday should have a Robi !! Our very first time in Croatia for a few days, and we were put in touch with Robi. From our first meeting he was very professional and helpful, punctual and nothing was too much trouble. We had 2 full days with Robi . Day 1 we travelled to various vineyards for private tours and tastings then onto Ston and the Salt plains. Robi has a vast knowledge of everywhere we went and little quirky stop offs along the way which made for a fabulous and very interesting day. The 2nd day we visited Dubrovnik, super tour ,which included walking the wall and the Fort on top of the mountain which he arranged for us to have dinner at with the most amazing views over the City. I can honestly say it was an amazing and very informative break in Croatia. I would highly recommend everyone travelling to Croatia to contact him, not only for the educational tours but also the adventure tours he does as well. Well done Robi you were amazing !!! "Above and beyond!!!"

"We love Robi and his country! We plan to return at some point. My husband, then boyfriend at the time, came back and couldn’t stop talking about an amazing trip, fabulous guide, and beautiful country! He talked about it so much, I finally asked him if he would go again just so I could experience it for myself! He said he’d go again just for his own 2nd experience! So we went to Croatia and made it a family trip. It just so happened Nathan and I got engaged just a month before and announced to our family on our way to Croatia. Robi found out and spoiled us with cute sentiments throughout the trip. He went above and beyond! We had a group of people who were all fitness levels and Robi was extremely patient and ensured each person had a safe and fun time. I saw so many “fears” conquered! My mom faced once in a lifetime opportunities head on all because of Robi’s passion and encouragement are that contagious! We got a taste of the real Croatia, not just the touristy parts of Croatia. He introduced us to long time friends and we ate delicious home cooked meals. I don’t even know where to begin to describe Robi. I don’t think there’s a guide in this world better than him. He is the absolute best. I wish we could take him all over the world with us! If Croatia is on your bucket list, schedule with Robi and ACDC today. I know we will never experience Croatia without Robi! He’s family now! We will be visiting again 🙂"

"Where to start… Robi is responsible for taking me and my family on 2 of the greatest trips of our lives. That’s right: 2. We went BACK to Croatia, specifically with Robi and ACDC, and brought more of our friends and family because we enjoyed our first trip so much. He is a walking library of anything you’d like to know about Croatia or the region in general (human history, plants, animals, geology, etc.), and he is passionate to share his knowledge and help you to have the best experience possible.
